A Du’a for the Overwhelmed Heart

There are days when the weight inside feels heavier than what words can hold.
When you smile for others, but your heart whispers, “Ya Allah, I’m tired.”

Sometimes the thoughts circle endlessly, the chest tightens, and peace feels far.
And yet – in that moment of stillness, when you lower your gaze and whisper His name, something begins to soften. Because remembrance isn’t only dhikr on the tongue; it’s the quiet return of the heart to its Source.

Du’a:
Ya Allah, when my thoughts feel too heavy and my chest too tight, remind me that peace is found in remembering You. Ease what I cannot express, calm what I cannot control and replace my restlessness with sakinah. Surround my heart with Your mercy, fill my soul with light, and let every worry find its way back to You.

A gentle reminder: even in silence, your du’a is heard.
For the Lord who answers hearts does not wait for eloquence – He listens to sincerity.

So pause. Breathe. Say His name.
And trust that even when you cannot speak, Allah already knows.
